Dr Cops New Spring PopUp Collections, Shabby Chic 2014
New You, New Digs, New Inspiration!
Shabby Chicness Opening Champagne Party, Thursday March 13, 6-10 pm
Dr Cops PopUp Shop in the Bishop Arts District will be reinvented once again with an all new
Spring Collection of Shabby Chic home décor and furniture from Morgan Allen Designs in the Dallas Design District, including dressers, end tables, benches and whimsical items, such as Chicken Feeder Lamps. Store owner, Vincent Coppolino, aka Dr Cop, will host a Shabby Chicness opening Champagne Party on Thursday March 13, 6-10pm. The evening includesa trunk show and appearance by Hollywood, CA based jewelry design partner Andrea Renee, featuring her beautiful new spring designs. Also kicking off Thursday March 13 is the new online course, Dr Cops In-Spring-ation Artful Living Makeover, available at DrCopsPopUpShop.com at 9am CST, and is FREE to help everyone de-clutter and reinvent their better-than-ever personal style and space.
Vincent says he chose Shabby Chic for his Spring Collection PopUp because it’s perfect for the season. “Shabby Chic is fresh again, it’s lighthearted, comfortable, mostly light colors, not so serious”, he says. “After all the U.S. has been through in 2013, with economic challenges and the Government shut down, it’s time to lighten up. What better time to lighten up than the spring and summer. The colors are whitewash, blues, pale purples and greens. The concept includes animals, such as chickens. Spring represents rebirth, and what says rebirth more than a chicken feeder lamp? It is Shabby Chicness.”
“You can set your watch to trends returning in 20 year cycles”, says Vincent. “Shabby Chic is back. It exploded in the 90’s, then it was out in the early 2000’s. There is a 20-year cycle to almost everything in fashion and home design.”
The Spring Collections PopUp includes handcrafted jewelry designed by partners Vincent and Andrea Renee, featuring
flower and butterfly necklaces and rings of pastel semi-precious stones and fresh water pearls, plus bracelets and necklaces of chain and leather with vintage medallions, as well as a variety of tassels. “Tassels are very big now”, Vincent says, “and medallions are part of the Shabby Chicness. What’s old is new again.”
Vincent and Andrea Renee’s Dr Cops In-Spring-ation Artful Living Makeover Online Course will provide bi-monthly action plan videos and worksheets with tips and tools, plus live Q & A group calls. The design partners will do the course too, working on their own makeover projects right along with participants. This self-paced course, with a private group, sharing ideas and resources, is the key to taking action, and making your 2014 makeover dreams come true! During the 3-month course, running from March 13 to June 13, participants receive a 15% discount on all merchandise purchased in- store and online. Plus, all participants are eligible to win a raffle prize of a hand crafted custom made jewelry piece by Andrea Renee and a 16 x 24 painting by Vincent, a $1,000 value! The raffle prize winner will be selected on June 13, the last day of the course, and the winner will be announced and contacted June 14. See the website for all the details.
