Vincent Coppolino (AKA Dr Cop), Multimedia Artist, Painter and Jewelry Designer

Vincent Coppolino (AKA Dr Cop) has directed his lifelong passions for visual art, design and entrepreneurship to the founding of Dr Cops PopUp Shop in 2013 located in the Bishop Arts District of Dallas, Texas. Acting as owner and resident artist of his permanent popup shop gallery, Coppolino exhibits his own original mixed media fine art paintings and handcrafted jewelry alongside furniture and home décor he hand picks from the best of Dallas’ local design district.

Dr Cops PopUp Shop is a celebrated fixture of the Bishop Arts Scene, featured often in local media publications and news features including D Magazine, Local Sugar, Where in the City, Daily Candy, Culture Map, Dallas Entertainment Journal, and Dallas Morning News. Coppolino also won the Small Business Administration’s 2014 Fast Start award for entrepreneurship honoring his fast track to success of his unique PopUp Shop concept attracting the public to Bishop Arts and fostering the area’s legacy as a corner stone of the emerging Dallas modern art scene. Vincent Coppolino has exhibited his fine art paintings and jewelry at the McKinney Avenue Contemporary Museum and regularly auctions his paintings and donates proceeds of his own Dr Cops PopUp Shop’s Exhibitions to Cancer and Multiple Sclerosis medical research in honor of multi-generations of his family members that have suffered from these diseases.

For over 20 years since 1991 his hand crafted jewelry collections have been carried in Henri Bendel, Bloomingdales, Barney’s, Fortunoff, Dillards and Nordstrom in the U.S. in addition to Barney’s, Seibu, Felissimo and Daimaru in Hong Kong and Japan. Celebrated as “one of NY Magazine’s favorite downtown jewelry designers” to the stars including Madonna, Johnny Depp and Drew Barrymore, Vincent Coppolino and his design partner Andrea Renee enjoyed 15 years of international acclaim at the top of the trend bridge jewelry industry based in NYC, driving millions in sales of their original handcrafted jewelry and hair accessories collection carried in international department stores as well as their own exclusive NYC boutique, Andrea Renee in SOHO, NYC and online store, andrearenee.com.
